I would like to say thank-you to Coach Doug and all of my Vanguard Team-mates. Without your guidance, help and support I could not have achieved this fantastic milestone. I have never felt more challenged or rewarded than I have over the past several years training at Vanguard Gym. I would like to extend a special thank you to Coach Doug in particular. I can’t imagine another gym where a world-class level black belt in bjj will take the time to work individually with his students of all ranks, as Coach Doug has with me, to help them address their growth areas and provide the expert guidance and encouragement to help them progress.
