I have been behind the ball in posting recent promotions. I put them up on Facebook and then forgot to put them up on the website/blog. My apologies guys!
Jason Deutsch has been putting it on the line in BJJ competition as much as anybody on the team, if not more, often competing in two, three, and even four divisions in a day. His submission only matches have been epic and he has demonstrated his knowledge of our curriculum not only at the gym, but time and time again on the mat during competition. I was very happy to surprise him with his promotion at a time and place he could share the moment with his family. I look forward to Jason’s continued growth in the sport as well as his contributions to the adults’ and children’s classes in which his son participates.
Aubrey Hummer, Luis Henry, and Duy Le have all been training hard and have been a fixture at the local tournament scene, often closing out their weight brackets together and always medaling. Their contributions at the gym have made them invaluable training partners and teammates. That’s why I was so excited to promote them to BJJ blue belts! Great job guys! Keep up the great work and supportive team training environment that has brought you this far!
